Dragons! And its blue! Its Blue Dragon Gargantuan! Client wanted to re-paint a Blue Dragon Gargantuan from one of those Dungeons and Dragons ICONS miniatures. The dragon miniature was already painted in a factory default colour scheme. The dragon was made with a rubber plastic material. I decided to do a paint over as stripping might be too risky for the rubbery plastic type. Maintaining the blue colour scheme, I based it in blue and and shaded with my airbrush. The dragon scales were then painted scale by scale and the wings were dry brush and shaded. This is a second blue dragon I have painted, check out this Ice Blue Dragon I painted way back ago!
As always, once completed, Gargantuan was alive with so much life as compared to the default colours!
