Sedition War Captain Kara and Akosha

Finally managed to get my Sedition Wars entries for the Studio Mcvey Sedition War contest. Been spending this week trying to complete it. Yes, and its finally all done, and a sure sense of satisfaction.

Next would be to get the rest of the Sedition War Vanguard squad to form a squad. I am planning to create a small terrain to stand the squad of Vanguards.

Before I started the Sedition War painting, been cracking my brain on what should a science fiction uniform colour scheme would look like. After much searching, was pretty inspired by Starship trooper uniform colour scheme, so I just played around with shades of black and grey.

Both Captain Kara and Akosha base are built using plastic cards and brass etch sheet. I was afraid that the brass etch sheet I ordered from Hasslefree would not be in time for this usage. But it came just in time, and was put to good use.

The idea I had for Akosha is a sniper camouflage. Since its science fiction, thought the team would have some sort of advanced cloaking camouflage technology for the sniper. Camo on, Akosha creeps into a corner of the old worn steel lodge sector XII, the camo technology cloaks the walls of the steel lodge.

So much for having a great time painting Captain Kara and Sedition Wars. Oh ya, I still recall I have a limited edition Captain Kara chucked on my shelf… Next on the list, Space Marine and Orks… Stay tuned… Cheers!

Just your everyday guy who’s turned painting miniatures into a regular ritual! Whenever I find a spare moment, you’ll catch me with a brush in hand, transforming miniatures and models with a splash of colour. Every stroke is a therapeutic escape, even if I only have a few minutes. There’s nothing quite like the thrill and satisfaction of seeing these miniatures creations come to life, ready for battle, ready for display!
