40k Dark Angel Ravenwing Landspeeder Typhoon

Reinforcement is on the way! 40k Dark Angel Ravenwing Landspeeder Typhoon just sped past! I have never painted a 40k Landspeeder before, so when I got this project then, there’s definitely excitement in it, ha ha!

The challenge of this I guess its the black colour of the Ravenwing design. Black is one of the tough colour to paint, though its just black. The trick usually revolves around giving the black subtle shades of grey to create the feel of highlight and shadows. For this 40k Dark Angel Ravenwing Landspeeder Typhoon, I painted it airbrushing subtle shades of grey on the near edges and high point of the Landspeeder. Try to imagine the high points as how and where would the light lands on that surface. Usually I observed black things around me in day to day, and take note of the shades of highlights and shadows on the black objects.
