Hope everyone is doing good this difficult pandemic times. Do stay safe and healthy.
For work, I guess its usual pace for me, and with the staying at home or lock down going on, I guess time has gotten more flexible to manage. This translate to more manageable projects and painting time.
As for the motivation and hype in miniature hobby these recent months, I am seeing myself losing faith in the Emperor. Even with the new Psychic Awakening Ritual of the Damned which has a rule boost for my favourite Grey Knights, its does not seen to thrill me at all. My faith seem weak… And I have been a fan of the Sisters and always have been waiting for an overhaul of the Sisters range. And when the reality came true, its new and amazing miniature releases does not not seem to thrill and excite me at all. But I have more complains about the crazy price in Games Workshop though, as usual. I guess most likely I will take a sabbatical from the Emperor, haha, and see where the faith will lead me to. Maybe the 9th edition? Ha ha… But I am still open to Games Workshop commissions projects, or any other commission projects. Do drop me a msg if you have any projects to commission.
For the past months I have gotten into the Songs of Ice and Fire miniature game by CMON. Funny thing is, I am totally NOT into the story of the Games of Throne. Stories of power struggle, backstabbing and politics just does not intrigue me. I guess its more of the rank and file game system itself and the true scale fantasy miniatures that greatly attracted and motivated me. The game system for ASOIAF is an interesting and a very tactical one, with lots of tactical decision and options to be made. And, along with a pretty well balanced armies across all the houses or chapters, the gameplay is balance and fair. Anyway, with much flexible time in hand now, I have manage to kick into overdrive of getting my Lannister painted up. That’s the plan, haha, after which will be my Baratheon. In the meantime, Hear Me Roar! Stay safe and healthy everyone! Cheers!
