A Song of Ice and Fire Lannister Halberdiers

Set for charge! Got my Lannister’s Halberdliers done quite a while back actually. Just that work and life got caught up with me, and they had no time to be charge! Haha. Anyway, they were a joy to paint as usual. Colour scheme is the same style as my previous Lannister units. The halberd pole I decided to go for a lighter shade of brown such that it stand out among the sea of red Lannister uniform. As a unit, they do looked intimidating with all the Halberds pointing forward, and with the colour choice of light brown for the pole, it definitely helps to stand out even more. I decided place the Halberdier Bannerman in the second rank, such that the first rank have all the Halberdiers with their weapons all pointing forward. Now, they ready to set for charge! Come on, charge me!

  1. Looks amazing, I’ll be using this as a reference when I start mine. What did you use as for the metal ?

  2. Thanks. The metal, I started with Vallejo Game Air Gunmetal, followed by Ammo Mig Gunmental highlight, and finally the shining highlight with Ammo Mig Silver. So far, I found Ammo Mig Silver is the most shinning silver. If you come across any other even more shinny silver, do let me know… Cheers!
